Ha ha I said the same thing to my wife when we went to Ireland and rented a manual 3 row SUV and spent most of the time driving rural Ireland. Manuals should be everywhere but it was tripping me out shifting with my left hand, and I was also leaning heavy to the left of the lane. And then there were the narrow rural roads, I get the sentiment! Thanks for the video. We're going to Scotland in spring 2025 it I'm just getting an automatic this time. Not fun when you have to exit the camper to get into the driver's position. Vast weight raises the center of gravity of the pickup making it very unstable unless you have a dually pickup with surplus carrying capacity in addition to the camper's dry weight.

Thank you for the great tips. We take a lot of road trips. There is a free app that we always use. It's called I-EXIT. I've never even had to create an account to use it. It tells you what is at every exit (gas, food, lodging, rest stops). It tells you how far it is and even which way to turn after your exit. It's our most used app while on the road. It is only for interstates though and not smaller roads.
